Months after a robbery in Belleville rocked the community, Ro’s General Store has reopened.
On October 19 last year, store owner Jason Ro was robbed and assaulted, resulting in him losing sight in one eye and struggling with nerve damage to his elbow.
But those injuries didn’t deter Ro or his family and they have proudly reopened their store on Cannifton Road North.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk says he commends the generosity and kindness of those who stepped in to help the Ro family these past six months and he wishes them every success as they return to business.
The store is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
