Ottawa’s options to take care of the country’s most vulnerable will be coming into clearer focus in the coming days.
During yesterday’s briefing, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the COVID-19 outbreak is taking a toll on all Canadians.
But he admitted that staying home is particularly hard for Canadians who were already struggling and it’s impossible for those who don’t have a safe home to go to.
To that end he announced that millions of dollars would be coming soon for charities, such as Kids Help Phone and United Way Canada.
