A 38-year-old man from Picton will appear in court to face forcible confinment and other charges after an assault in Prince Edward County.
Police report they responded to a report of an assault on Friday just after 7 p.m. at a home on Main Street in Picton.
Officers arrested the man after an investigation and charged him with two counts of mischief under $5,000, assault, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and forcible confinement.
He was released from custody and will appear in Picton court at a later date.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
