Officials at Quinte Health Care are pleased with how the most recent hospital job fair went.
CEO Mary Clare Egberts says the job fair helped recruit for some already vacant positions and also created a list of qualified people who can quickly fill vacancies if they come up.
Egberts says they were able to hire six nurses, three personal support workers and 10 support services staff directly from the job fair, with more than 50 other applications saved in case other jobs become available.
