Northumberland OPP are warning people about a hydro scam making the rounds.
Police say fake invoices are being mailed to people and the invoice states there has been a price increase, leading to an outstanding balance on the account.
Officers say if you receive a suspicious bill, check the contact number with that found on previous bills and do not call the number provided on the suspicious bill.
