Your electricity use is about to be a bit cheaper as you spend more time at home right now.
Tuesday afternoon the Ontario government announced they are suspending time of use rates for 45 days beginning today (March 24, 2020) to help support those Ontarians impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Elexicon Energy President and CEO Lesley Gallinger says the energy provider applauds the decision to move consumers to the lowest rate.
She says the announcement provides their customers and all Ontarians with some peace of mind so they can concentrate on what matters most –keeping their loved ones safe.
