Two local junior hockey players will graduate to the college ranks next season.
Trenton Golden Hawks defenceman Colin Van den Hurk has committed to the Lakehead University Thunder in Thunder Bay in Septempber.
The 20 year old Havelock native scored 13 goals and 42 points for the G-Hawks this season. Van den Hurk is a graduate of the Quinte Red Devils.

Wellington Dukes forward Dawson Ellis has committed to the Adrian College Bulldogs in Adrian Michigan.
The Trent Hills product has played for the Dukes for 3 seasons following one year with the Picton Pirates.
Ellis scored 14 goals and 41 points in 51 games with Wellington.
