Business is going to suffer for many due to the Coronavirus, but grocery stores are booming.
John Smylie of Smylie’s Your Independent Grocer tells Quinte News they cannot keep up.
He says when the COVID rush initially hit, there was a rush on toilet paper, but now it is for much more.
Smylie says in any given week they get about 30 trailer deliveries, but he says they need about three times that right now.
He adds that they are controlling how many people are in the store at one time, to help with social distancing to keep patrons safe.
