There was a fire overnight north of Madoc.
Just after 10:30 pm, fire crews from Madoc Township were called to 438 Graham Road, which is north of Highway 7 and east of Highway 62.
A barn blaze was attacked by crews, with some of the fire spreading to the nearby grass.
There was heavy damage, and crews remained on scene about four hours.
No word yet whether animals were in the barn or not.
A cause, and damage estimate are not available at this time.
