Break and enter
Belleville Ontario- On 19 March 2020 at 8:15am, Belleville Police responded to a Haig Road address regarding a break in. Unknown suspect(s) had broken into the home sometime between 8:00pm on March 18 and 8:00am on March 19. Breach of Probation
Belleville Ontario– On 19 March 2020 at 12:10 pm, officers attended an address on Gordon Street regarding a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, it was found that a 34-year-old Belleville male had been breaching his probation. He was at the residence communicating with a female that he was on probation not be with from a prior domestic violence incident; however, he had left prior to police arrival. At 6:55pm, police located the male running on Coleman Street. The male was arrested without incident. The male was later released on an undertaking with a court date of 11 May 2020.
Domestic assault charges
Belleville Ontario- On 19 March 2020 at 10:30pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence after receiving a call from the victim’s mother that a domestic assault had taken place. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the victim. As a result, a 34-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with domestic assault, choking, forcible confinement, and uttering threats. He will have a bail hearing on 20 March 2020. His name is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
