After the City of Quinte West recently put a complete burn ban in effect, other municipalities are following suit.
Centre Hastings, Belleville and Prince Edward County put total burn bans in place today, as did Tyendinaga Township and Stirling Rawdon.
That means there is to be no open air burning in the area, with dry conditions and forecast high winds making conditions ideal for grass and forest fires.
