The Belleville Police Service responded to 69 calls from March 18, 2020 at 5 a.m. to March 19, 2020 at 5 a.m.
Thefts
On March 18, 2020 at 5 p.m., a male suspect was entering parked vehicles located in different business parking lots on North Front St. The suspect was unable to be located but was described as a white male wearing black shorts, a black sweater, white running shoes and white sunglasses. Some items taken from the vehicles were recovered by police and returned to the owners.

Bail Violations
On March 18, 2020 at 10 p.m., city police attended an east end apartment complex in regards to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers located a 46-year-old Belleville resident causing a disturbance and violating his bail release conditions. The accused was just released from bail court earlier in the afternoon on this date from previous charges.
The accused was taken into custody and will be making an appearance at the Belleville Ontario Court of Justice for a Show Cause Hearing scheduled for March 19, 2020.
