Some residents on the Ameliasburgh Drinking Water System may experience a loss of water service for about an hour early tomorrow morning.
Prince Edward County staff will be conducting some emergency follow-up work at the Ameliasburgh Water Treatment Plant, between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., following up on work done at the plant earlier this week.
Customers may experience discoloured water for a brief time once service is restored and The County is encouraging users to bottle or store tap water, in case it is needed while the shutdown is in place.
Officials say a pitcher of water could also be poured into the tank of your toilet to allow it to flush, if needed, overnight.
