Mayor Steve Ferguson has called a special meeting of Council for 3 p.m. today (Tuesday).
Council will move into closed session to discuss two items: what requires a Council decision and what can be made by the chief administrative officer, and enabling electronic participation for Council/Committee and advisory committee meetings.
The meeting will be held at the Prince Edward Community Centre in an abundance of caution to safeguard the health and well-being of councillors, staff, and the public.
Members of the public are unable to attend the meeting in person. Council’s decisions will be communicated immediately after the meeting.
