Quinte West is taking precautions regarding the developing situation with COVID-19 and taking further steps to protect staff and residents.
The following buildings will be closed to the public effective 12 p.m. today:

Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens in Trenton

Dr. McMullen Recreation Centre in Frankford

The Quinte West Public Library locations in Trenton and Frankford

The Public Works Operations Centre
-
The Trent Port Marina
-
Fire Station No. 1

Batawa Community Centre
Refunds will be issued for all cancelled bookings. Burn permits can be purchased and issued using our online portal: https://qw.burnpermits.com/.
The following City events will be postponed:

City Council meeting for March 16, 2020

Quinte Career Fair

Hops on the Water

All committee meetings scheduled for March and April.
City Hall and the Frankford Municipal office will be closed to the public. Residents are encouraged to use our e-billing services. City business will still be conducted by email and telephone. If you must pay by cash or cheque, there are drop boxes available at City Hall and the Frankford Municipal Office. All closures will be in effect until April 6, 2020.
