In-person classes at Loyalist College will be suspended as of Monday, March 16 said Loyalist College president Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan on behalf of the college on Friday.
Classes will remain suspended until the end of the winter semester on April 17 due to COVID-19 precautions.
“The health, well-being and safety of our Loyalist College community is always our top priority. These are difficult and rapidly shifting times, and I am writing today to provide an important update regarding the College’s evolving response to COVID-19 and how it impacts campus services and our teaching and learning environment” said Vaughan.
Loyalist will deliver online classes for the remainder of the semester, beginning on March 23, then re-evaluate the situation for the spring semester ahead.
On-campus events will also be cancelled until the end of the semester.
