Belleville and Quinte West will be receiving more gas tax dollars from the province this year.
However, Prince Edward County is receiving less.
The provincial government has announced $797,000 from gas tax revenues for the City of Belleville, up from $737,000 last year.
Quinte West will receive $525,000, up from $507,000.
Prince Edward County’s share has dropped to $82,000 from last year’s $118,000.
Gas tax revenues can be used by municipalities for public transit improvements.
