With one exception there are no confirmed cases of the COVID 19 virus in Hastings or Prince Edward counties or in the Brighton or Napanee areas.
The exception is the two people that were airlifted to CFB Trenton from a cruise ship in Oakland California a few days ago.
Those people tested positive for the virus but are in isolation and in a supervised quarantine situation at the base.
Meanwhile, the Hastings and Prince Edward Health Unit’s Karen La Rose says the number of calls to the unit regarding the coronavirus have been increasing.
In response they have set up a special COVID 19 info line.
