Motor Vehicle Collisions
On March 10, 2020 at 7:39 a.m., police responded to a two-car collision on Dundas Street West at Coleman Street. EMS attended to treat one person at the scene for minor injuries. One driver was charged with following too closely.
On March 10, 2020 at 9:24 a.m., police attended at Bridge Street East at Church Street in relation to a two-car collision. The airbags had been deployed in both vehicles which were towed from the scene. EMS attended at the scene to treat both drivers for minor injuries. One driver was charged with failing to stop at a red light.
On March 10, 2020 at 10:26 a.m., police attended on Cedar Street at Catharine Street in relation to a two-vehicle collision. There were no reported injuries and the investigation is continuing.
Traffic Enforcement
On March 10, 2020 at 4:15 p.m., an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on Moira Street West. The driver, a 37-year-old Belleville woman, was charged with failing to have insurance. She was also charged with failing to notify ministry of change of address. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.
