The director of Long Term Care for Hastings County says, while there is no overt concern or positive tests of the novel coronavirus, the usual infection control precautions are being taken at Hasting Manor.
Debbie Rollins tells Quinte News the facility is following protocols outlined by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, to make sure staff and residents stay healthy.
Rollins says the precautions being taken aren’t far off from the everyday health and safety measures that are in place.
Rollins added that Hastings Manor is currently in a respiratory outbreak, so visits are being limited because of that as well.
