Belleville is growing by leaps and bounds in comparison to last year’s numbers.
Last month, the city issued 33 permits with a value of $5.2 million for four commercial permits and 29 residential permits.
The construction of row homes makes up the majority of the residential development in Belleville in February.
This time last year, the construction value was $2.4 million.
In the first two months of the year, there have been 74 permits issued with a construction value of $7.6 million.
