Trespassing male
On March 6, 2020 at 7:05 p.m., police responded to a North Front St. business where a male was failing to leave the premise when directed to do so. The intoxicated 58-year-old male, who is not from the Belleville area, was uncooperative and subsequently arrested under the Trespass to Property Act for failing to leave the premise when directed to do so. He was taken to the Belleville Police Service where he was held in custody until sober and released on a Provincial Offences Notice under the Trespass to Property Act.
Intoxicated male
On March 7, 2020 at 12:05 a.m., police arrested an intoxicated male at a business on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road. The male was reportedly refused service and proceeded to run around erratically, evading the businesses security. The 20-year-old Belleville male was located and arrested by police for Being Intoxicated in a Public Place. He was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was held in custody until sober and released on a provincial offence notice for public intoxication.
Domestic Assault
On March 7, 2020 at approximately 10:22 p.m., police attended an east end location regarding a domestic incident. The investigation led to police arresting and charging a 33-year-old Belleville woman with one count of assault against her boyfriend. She was later released with a court date on March 30, 2020.
