Trespassing male
On March 6, 2020 at 7:05 p.m., police responded to a North Front St. business where a man was failing to leave the premise when directed to do so. The intoxicated 58-year-old man, who is not from the Belleville area, was uncooperative and subsequently arrested under the trespass to property act for failing to leave the premise when directed to do so. He was taken to the Belleville Police Service where he was held in custody until sober and released on a provincial offences notice under the trespass to property act.
Intoxicated male
On March 7, 2020 at 12:05 a.m., police arrested an intoxicated man at a business on Wallbridge Loyalist Road. The man was reportedly refused service and proceeded to run around erratically, evading the businesses security. The 20-year-old from Belleville was located and arrested by police for being intoxicated in a public place. He was taken to the Belleville Police Service where he was held in custody until sober and released on a provincial offence notice for public intoxication.
Domestic Assault Arrest
On March 6, 2020 at 10:28 p.m., police arrested a 29-year-old Stirling man on an outstanding warrant, stemming from January 11, 2020 for uttering threats, assault with a weapon, assault and breach of probation. The man was transported to the Belleville Police Service and was held in custody for bail.
Domestic Mischief Arrest
On March 6, 2020 at 6:30 a.m., police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the east end of Belleville. Upon arrival, police conducted an investigation that revealed a 24-year-old Belleville man had caused damage to the residence and he was breaching his probation. Police arrested the man for mischief, breach of probation and possession of a schedule one substance under the controlled drugs and substances act. The man was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he is being held for a bail hearing.
