The Municipality of Brighton is seeing a building increase over last year.
Building permits were issued in February for three new homes with a total value of $1.5 million.
The total number of permits issued so far this year totals 14, which is more than double the six issued for the first two months of the year in 2019.
The value so far this year is $3.1 million, a significant increase over the $1.04 million in 2019.
