It was a big week in the pool for Bayside Secondary School at the Ontario High School swimming championships.
14 Red Devils were among the 2000 plus athletes from across Ontario. Bayside’s Junior Girls team of Madalyn Andrus, Lina Brennan, Shayla Coe, Paige Launderville and Sadie Booker-Morphet finished an impressive fifth overall among the 102 schools competing in the Junior Girls division. That included a bronze medal in the Freestyle Relay.
Overall Bayside was 41st out of 312 schools.
The OFSAA championships were held at the Toronto Pan Am Centre.
