Secondary schools operated by the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board will be closed tomorrow (Thursday) as part of rotating one day strikes by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation.
Eight other public school boards in the province will also see high schools closed down.
The strike won’t affect any elementary school classes located in the high schools.
All teachers belonging to the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association will also hold a one day strike tomorrow.
That means English speaking Catholic schools across the province, elementary and secondary, will be closed tomorrow.
