The Wellington Dukes are one win away from the second round of the OJHL playoffs but not before getting an early wake-up call in Cobourg.
Mac Lowry gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead 1:46 into the game before the Dukes roared back with 3 in the first in a 5-3 victory.
Dylan Massie (Game winner), Ben Woodhouse and Jake Gagnon had a goal and assist with Dawson Ellis and Daniel Panetta adding singles.
Wellington kept Cobourg goaltender Dershahn Stewart busy with 39 shots. Matthew Dunsmoor faced 19 in the Dukes net.
Wellington leads the best of East Division semi final 3-0. Game 4 is Thursday night in Cobourg.
Tonight (Tues) the Trenton Golden Hawks are home to the Whitby Fury for game 3 of their East division semi final.
The G-Hawks lead that series 2-0. Game time is 7:30 at the Trenton Community Gardens.
