Theft from unlocked motor vehicle
On February 28, 2020 at 6:55 a.m., city police received a report from a resident in the Orchard Drive area about a theft from her motor vehicle. The complainant advised police that her vehicle was left unlocked, and the unknown thief made off with some loose coins and an insurance document. Police remind everyone to lock everything. Disguised thief steals cell phone
On February 28,2020 at 10:00 a.m., city police attended to a call on Front Street about a theft of a cell phone. The female victim was in her business as the suspect entered. The man is described as wearing a black ski mask and a red winter jacket. The suspect walked over to a desk, stole the victim’s cell phone, and fled the building. A search of the area proved negative for the suspect. The victim was not harmed in this matter. Theft of generator
On February 28, 2020 at 4:41 p.m., city police attended to a home in the North Park Street and Bell Boulevard area for a reported theft of a generator. The property, with an estimated value of $300, was stolen from the rear porch of the home. An investigation is continuing.
