A Picton man faces charges after doing some paid yard work for an elderly couple and then assaulting them inside their home.
Prince Edward County OPP were called early Saturday evening to remove an unwanted person from a residence in Picton.
Police report that 29-year-old Douglas Cory finished the yard work and then went inside for a while and wouldn’t leave, ending up assaulting the couple who received minor injuries.
He was charged with two counts of assault and resisting a Peace Officer.
