The Hastings Prince Edward Learning Foundation’s Food for Home program will be better off because of a generous donation from 100+ Men Who Care Quinte.
Monday night 100+ Men Who Care donated $8,800 to help the program meet its goals.
The meeting marked the start of 100+ Men Who Care Quinte’s 6th year in operation.
Including the night’s donation, the club has donated over $190,000 for local charities.
The Food for Home program provides needy families with $50 grocery gift certificates for 11 weeks in the year.
