Downtown Belleville will be a busy spot this Saturday. Individuals, families, and groups will be out wandering through the downtown as
the Downtown District presents its 17th annual Savour The Chill soup tasting event.
Several downtown restaurants will be putting their best soup or soups out for sampling. Samples are just $2 and a panel of judges will be choosing one of the restaurants’ soup as the best.
Savour The Chill starts at noon and ends when the soup runs out. The weather forecast looks just about perfect with Environment Canada calling for a mix of sun and cloud Saturday and a high temperature of plus 3.
