Residents in Prince Edward County who have questions about how to best prepare themselves and their property in advance of high water levels this spring are encouraged to head to an open house Wednesday night.
The County is hosting a flood preparation open house at the Wellington and District Community Centre beginning at 6 p.m.
County Fire Prevention, MPAC, Quinte Conservation, the Electrical Safety Authority and many other agencies will also be in attendance.
Mayor Steve Ferguson says they want to be proactive and provide people with information and helpful resources so they can be ready as a community in advance of water levels rising in the spring.
