Arrest on Warrants
On February 17, 2020 at 8:30 p.m., officers received a call about a disturbance at a business on Dundas St. W. Upon arrival, officers observed a female and a male arguing over some property. A records check indicated that the female, Jennifer Murphy, a 32-year-old from Belleville, was wanted for breach of probation x 2, theft under $5000, failing to appear for fingerprints, failing to appear for court, and possession of stolen property. She was released on an undertaking with a court date of March 12, 2020.
Arrest on Warrants
On February 17, 2020 at 2:15 p.m., officers attended a residence on Bleecker Ave. in regards to an unwanted person. A 31-year-old Belleville female was staying in a residence that she was not supposed to be in. Officers requested the female leave and she refused. When officers attempted to arrest her, she resisted arrest and was eventually taken into custody. The female is charged with being unlawfully in a dwelling house, breach of probation and resisting arrest. She was held for a bail hearing on February 18, 2020.
