The game was a lot closer on the scoreboard than on the ice last night at Trenton’s Duncan McDonald Memorial Gardens.
Despite outshooting the opposing team 45 to 20 the Trenton Golden Hawks had to go into overtime to beat the Whitby Fury 4 to 3 last night (Friday night).
Griffen Fox scored at 2:28 of overtime to seal the deal.
Adam Kim had two for the G Hawks with Griffen Fox also scoring.
The game was played in front of 566 fans.
