People will be hitting the streets on February 22 to help raise funds for a local organization.
Supporters of Nightlight Belleville will walk as part of the nationwide Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser to raise funds for the adult drop-in centre.
Nightlight Belleville opened in 2014 and provided a space where lonely and marginalized people can find friendship and belonging.
The organization is working to expand their open hours an additional one or two nights a week as well as open its own storefront location.
This year’s goal is $20,000.
