Westbound traffic is being detoured off Highway 401 just east of Belleville this hour.
OPP are reporting two tractor trailers were involved in a crash, around 10:00 a.m. and are blocking the highway.
A further update from OPP says eastbound lanes will have to be closed briefly for an Ornge air ambulance to land, but there have been no specifics released on injuries.
Drivers should follow MTO detour signs and avoid Highway 401 between Marysville Road and Shannonville Road until further notice.
