Hundreds of children and their parents will be enjoying the fresh winter air Saturday on the Bay of Quinte.
It’s the annual Belleville Police Service Cops & Kids Ice Fishing Derby.
It’s a free event aimed at children 12 years of age and under. The first 100 to arrive will receive a free toque.
Refreshments will be provided at no charge.
The Cops & Kids Ice Fishing Derby runs from 1 o’clock until 4 o’clock from the Herchimer Avenue boat launch in east end Belleville.
