Four teens have been charged in connection to a theft according to Quinte West OPP.
Officers responded to a theft on Dundas Street East in Trenton on Wednesday in the dinner hour but the four suspects had fled the scene in a vehicle.
The vehicle was located abandoned on George Street in Trenton with stolen property recovered.
All four suspects, two 14-year-olds, a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old, all from Scarborough were located and arrested a short time later and charged in connection to a theft in Belleville.
They are all facing theft over $5,000 charges along with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and mischief over $5,000.
The four were released on undertakings and will appear in Belleville court next month.
