Protesters have set up a second site near the Hwy. 49 overpass tracks.
Similarly to the protest at Wyman Road, the bus is adjacent to the tracks but not on the tracks.
Protesters say that if a train tries to go through the area the bus will be moved onto the tracks.
A Mohawk flag can be seen flying at the site and a tent and fires have been set up.
Earlier today, the Tyendinaga Chief of Police arrived inside camp and he urged everyone to go home and call it a day saying “you’ve made your point”…”go sleep in your own beds.”
