There was a car/train collision in Tyendinaga Township late yesterday afternoon (Monday).
According to Scan-Quinte, a CP freight train hit a car driven by a woman on the tracks at Melrose Road after 4 o’clock.
The woman was not seriously injured but was taken to hospital as a precaution.
