There was a destructive fire in Colborne Sunday morning.
A house went up in flames around 12:15 a.m., according to Today’s Northumberland.
Cramahe Township Fire was dispatched to the home on Percy Street.
Crews were able to contain the fire to a single room but the damage had already been done.
Over $100,000 in damage to the two-storey home was reported.
One person was home at the time of the fire but escaped and was unharmed.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
