The Wellington Dukes unleashed their offence in Whitby last night crushing the hometown Fury 8-2.
13 different players hit the scoresheet led by Jacob Vreugdenhill with two goals and two assists. Brodie McDougall added a pair with Quinn Hanna scoring once with two assists.
Wellington scored 3 in the first period then blew the game open with 4 in the second.
Evan Miller, James White and Frank Vitucci added singles.
The Dukes outshot the Fury 45-27. Matthew Keeley tended goal for Wellington.
It’s the sixth win in a row for the Dukes as they move one point behind first place Trenton in the OJHL East. Wellington holds two games in hand.
