Not as many building permits were issued but the construction value was a little higher last month than it was in January of 2019 in Prince Edward County.
The county’s building department issued 35 permits worth almost $5.5 million.
In January of last year 51 permits were issued for a construction value of just over $5 million.
Permits were issued for five new houses in Prince Edward County last month, worth a combined $2.5 million.
