January building activity in Quinte West was the lowest it’s been in the past three years.
Twenty-two permits were issued last month, with a value of just under $2.5 million, compared to 41 permits valued at more than $4.6 million in January 2019 and 43 permits worth more than $5.5 million in the same month in 2018.
Of the permits issued last month, four were for new residential builds, one was for a new agricultural project and the rest were for various residential and commercial renovations.
