Northumberland OPP have charged two people following a drug trafficking investigation.
Police say the investigation by members of the Peterborough/Northumberland OPP Community Street Crime Units began in November and on January 31, two people were arrested in Brighton.
Officers with the Street Crime Unit along with the Emergency Response Team made the arrest outside a business on Park Street and seized 15.2 grams of suspected cocaine, cash and a smart phone.
Ryan Douglas Knapman, 34, of Brighton and Matthew Gianiselli, 37, of Quinte West are both facing trafficking of cocaine and and possession for the purpose of trafficking charges.
They were released and will appear in Cobourg court next month.
