A Greater Napanee man has been arrested after some suspicious behaviour on Thursday night.
Lennox and Addington OPP were called to a home on Buttermilk Falls Road in Greater Napanee after a resident reported their garage door opener had been taken from their vehicle and used to gain access to their garage.
When police arrived on scene, they took custody of a man who was being questioned by local home owners.
The 30-year-old was found to be in possession of break-in tools and was prowling on people’s property and was arrested.
Tyler Jason Hill is charged with three counts of trespassing at night, two counts of possession of a firearm obtained by crime, six counts possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, possession of break-in instruments, theft under $5,000 from a motor vehicle and failure to comply with a probation order.
He was held for a bail hearing on Friday in Napanee court.
