Three leadership contestants for the Conservative Party of Canada were in Belleville Wednesday night.
Lawyer Leslyn Lewis and MPs Derek Sloan and Erin O’Toole were guests of the Bay of Quinte Conservative Annual General Meeting.
Lewis told the crowd at the Belleville Club,the country is under attack.
This is O’Toole’s second time running for leadership.
Derek Sloan, from neighbouring Hastings-Lennox and Addington riding, says they need big and bold ideas.
A leader to replace Andrew Scheer will be announced June 27.
