Moira Secondary School graduate Emma Jianopoulos has been named the Ontario University Athletics Peak Performer of the Week.
Jianopoulos is a fourth year kinesiology major at the University of Toronto. She won 3 events while leading the four time champion Varsity Blues figure skating team at the 2020 Winter Invitational in Aylmer Ontario.
Emma won gold in the solo dance, dance fours and the team synchro events.
Jianopoulos was an OUA all star last year.
The University of Toronto has set its sights on their fifth straight provincial championship at Ryerson University in two weeks.
