Belleville police are asking for the public’s help as they continue to try to piece together exactly what happened in a fatal snowmobile accident early Saturday night near the Norris Whitney Bridge.
The snowmobile, with a man and woman on board, was coming into Belleville from Prince Edward County when it slid off Highway 62.
A 39-year-old woman died while about to be transferred to Kingston General Hospital from Belleville General and a 52-year-old man remains in Kingston General with serious injuries.
Anyone with information on the incident which occurred during a snowstorm is asked to call Sergeant Brad Stitt of the Belleville Police Service.
