Belleville Mayor Mitch Panciuk attended day two of the Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) Conference 2020 and says it is a great way to lay the groundwork for the future with the province.
Panciuk says he was part of a multi-minister conference with the Minister of Health and the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing regarding public health and housing. He also made a presentation regarding high water levels.
Panciuk says it’s a matter of waiting now to hear back from the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing MPP Steve Clark regarding how the government can help them with that.
There were four Belleville councillors in attendance at ROMA as well.
